Trunk Show! Join Us on October 17th, 4:30-7:00 PM
Our mission is two-fold: by providing a showcase for various forms of art, we are helping the creators help themselves. Second, by donating our proceeds to charities that promote the mental and physical well-being of women and children, we are providing assistance to those striving to remake their lives.
The first Women's Exchange started in 1832 to provide impoverished women with an outlet to earn money for their handwork. The concept was to help women help themselves. This concept caught on and Exchanges began to pop up across the country, many of which are still in business today.
The Fairfield Women's Exchange is a not-for-profit organization managed and staffed by volunteers. Currently we have over 50 volunteers, and we are always happy to welcome new women to our team.
